Dos Pinceles Gota Hoop Earrings
These hoop earrings with a "drop" at the end are part of the designers' Rustico collection and are inspired by the beautiful view, streets, rock walls and architecture of the magical town of Taxco, Mexico. Dos Pinceles uses a lost wax technique, an ancient method were pieces are first carved by hand in wax, followed by a cast in brass or silver with a high polish finish.
These inspirations and techniques result in organic and textured pieces resembling the special town they were created. All pieces have been designed and produced in Taxco, Mexico then polished, assembled and finished in the artists' studio in Puerto Rico.

Dos Pinceles, Spanish for two brushes, is handcrafted by innovative twin sisters, Gabriela and Patricia Urrutia from Puerto Rico and symbolizes the union and inventive collaboration of these two artists’ distinct ideas in one piece. Their inspiration come from the simplicity of geometric forms found in nature, culture, and in history. Each piece is handmade; cut, hammered, polished and assembled in their studio.
